Sanding is the most time consuming work in the whole product creation process. I guess all of us soon realise it is much easier to create a complex shape than to sand it properly. So latelly I often catch myself during shaping, to change the design of the product because it will be easier to sand. This however is not always good. It would be better to just flow with where the wood and imagination guide me.
Thus I am constantly looking for new tools to help me sand more complex and hard to reach places. In this category you will find everything I was able to find on the market and have also used / still use myself. Every tool or accessory has some advantages and disadvantages. One is good for this, other for that. Still, there are some places you just can not reach any other way than by hand. For that also I have a solution ;) DIY velcro gloves!
The most used products here are surely my sanding discs with foam, which I use in combination with Makita angle drill. For me the perfect and most effective tool to keep the surfaces curved and tangential.
