I am sure you will never use standard sandpaper for hand sanding after you've tried the Mirka Abranet sanding net. It is true you get a bigger piece of classic sandpaper fort he same price, but there is simply no comparison. Even better is a combination with velco tape on your gloves so that sanding net stays in place.

Abranet namely has a hook and loop surface and I this heavy duty velcro tape with adhesive sticks to your working gloves to hold the Abranet sanding mesh in place. So the net will not slip off your finger or out of your palm no matter what or where you are sanding. I think it is a more convenient and also cheaper alternative to sanding gloves. It works great on natural thin goat leather working gloves, which I think are the best option for this purpose.
